Clampdown on shoddy car services with free car service quality test

SHODDY car services in Warwickshire have prompted a clampdown.

Warwickshire Trading Standards is inviting drivers to have the quality of their car service checked free of charge.

It follows a string of reports of garages charging customers for services they have not carried out.

Drivers will be able to check how efficient their latest vehicle check was from industry expert who will carry out free checks on January 28 and 29 in Warwick.




To take advantage of the free offer, the owner of the vehicle must be a Warwickshire residents and the car’s latest service must have been carried out by a county garage.

Also, the car service must have been carried out between January 14 and 28 this year, and the paperwork related to the service must also be provided.


Although no repairs will be carried out, owners will receive feedback on the condition of their vehicle and quality of any service provided.
