THE FESTIVE season will be off to a flying start with The Myton Hospices new Reindeer Run fund-raiser.
The charity is urging youngsters across the region to step into Christmas and help give the charity – which runs hospices in Myton, Rugby and Coventry- a boost.
The Reindeer Run can be any distance and done at any time, in any location – making it perfect for all ages.
And the charity is asking schools, nurseries and parent/toddler groups across the region to sign up and help put the fun into fund-raising this yuletide.
As well as completing the sponsored Reindeer Run, there are plenty of other ways to get involved and help to raise funds for Myton – from hosting non-uniform/Christmas jumper days, bake sales or collections at Nativity plays, Christmas concerts and festive raffles for friends and families.
Everyone taking part in the campaign and hosting a Reindeer Run can enjoy a Christmas activity fund-raising pack.
Fund-raising manager Clare Cropp said: “Christmas is such a special time for everyone and we’re delighted to be offering this fun new campaign to not only get people into the festive spirit, but to do something really special for all the people and families we care for here at Myton at what is such a precious time for them too. There are so many ways you can get involved and help us and we can’t wait to hear all about the fun you’ve been having taking part!”
