Breast cancer patient shaves head for hospital unit that means the world to her

A COURAGEOUS breast cancer patient shaved her head in aid of the hospital unit she said meant the world to her.

Heather Riley, from Stratford, has so far raised over £2,000 which will go towards the garden area – a calm respite that has helped Heather through her time being treated in the Helen Clarke Suite at Warwick Hospital.

Heather, who is still undergoing treatment following her diagnosis in November, said: “The Helen Clarke Suite doesn’t make you feel like just another number. They’ve been really good to me and my husband. I hope it is enough to make a difference. I want to make the courtyard something special, even when the world around seems bleak.”
