BOARD games are no longer just reserved for rainy days.
Community group Sunny Side Up is opening a board game café – The Board Room – at Tyler House in Stratford.
Sunny Side Up chair Sophie Mansfield said: “Making the most of life from 50 to 100 plus can sometimes be as simple as forming new friendships while having fun. Playing board games does just that especially when accompanied by a cup of tea and a delicious slice of cake!”
Sunny Side Up is also welcoming board game donations at Tyler House ahead of the cafe on June 15. Email at [email protected] for more information.
The Board Room will run Thursdays from 2pm to 4pm.
