LIFE-saving equipment has been installed in Bidford.
Bidford Parish Council has bought a new defibrillator which can be used in the case of a cardiac arrest.
The machine has been fitted at the fire station and is accessed by calling 999, with operators then giving instructions on how to use it.
Warwickshire County Council spokesman for fire and safety, coun Harward Roberts said: āIām pleased that Bidford Fire Station has been given this vital piece of life-saving equipment.
“With more than 30,000 cardiac arrests outside of hospital each year in the UK, it is a serious and widespread problem. The greater the access to defibrillators, the safer our communities are, so more equipment of this type in Warwickshire is fantastic news.ā
