A BIDFORD man has been charged with assaulting a police officer.
Christopher O’Brien, of Spangle Way, has been charged in connection with an incident in the village on September 19.
It is alleged a police officer was assaulted while responding to reports of a disturbance. He has also been charged with dangerous driving.
The 34-year-old will appear before magistrates in Leamington tomorrow (Saturday).
