A 34-YEAR-OLD Bidford man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with attempted murder.
It follows an a fire on Chapelhouse Lane in Dudley on Friday (June 3), which saw a 34-year-old woman and a young girl needing hospital treatment for smoke inhalation.
Daniel Watkins, of Smiths Close, was charged with attempted murder and went before magistrates in Dudley on Monday (June 6).
He was remanded in custody to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on July 4.
