Stratford’s First World War soldiers are the focus of an exhibition in the town today (Friday).
The Escape Arts project, funded through Heritage Lottery Fund, saw over 1,000 schoolchildren in the district helping research and tell stories of those who fought.
Stratford Town Hall will host the free exhibition WWI: Stratford;s Untold Stories which includes 3D trench models, posters, comic strips, diaries, even a fleet of zeppelins for people to see free of charge.
Escape Arts still want to hear from people who have family war stories, or items such as photos or letters from the trenches, for the exhibition, which can be seen today, from 10am to 9pm, but which will also be able to be seen with updated information in September.
