Stratford Editorial 28th Aug, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

STORIES will be spun as part of Wooly Week at the Shakespeare Houses.

A visiting Yarnsmith will be telling tales over the bank holiday weekend, first at Hall’s Croft on Saturday (August 29), and then at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage on the Sunday and Monday (August 30 and 31).

There will be also be a family picnic at Hall’s Croft – home of Shakespeare’s daughter Susanna and her physician husband John Hall – with free entry to the gardens from noon to 4pm.

And down on the farm in Wilmcote at Mary Arden’s there will be a celebration of rare breed animals and the skills of Tudor rural workers on the Sunday and Monday.
