Stratford Editorial 22nd Sep, 2022   0

AGE is no bar for those wanting to take up ballet in Stratford.

Ballet classes for over 55’s are starting in the town in October.

Silver Swans classes have been specifically designed for those 55 and over but budding ballet dancers of any age, looking for a new way to keep fit and active, are welcome.

Classes are open to beginners as well as those with prior experience – so perfect for those who have never danced before as well as those who want to get back into the swing of it.

Dancing can help improve mobility, posture, co-ordination and energy levels. Most importantly, these classes are an opportunity to have fun and enjoy the sense of wellbeing that dance brings.

Weekly classes start on Monday October 3 from 1 to 2pm at Stratford Methodist Church Hall,.

Classes are taught by Helena Mitchell who trained with the Royal Academy of Dance and has many years’ experience teaching across the region.

For more information or to sign up contact Helena on 07572 042164 or email [email protected]
