Award-winning chef gives a flavour of things to come at luxury retirement village

AN AWARD-winning chef will be giving a taste of things to come at a luxury retirement village.

Paul Foster, head chef at Stratford restaurant Salt, will host a pop-up event at Inspired Villages Austin Heath apartments in Warwick.

The free lunch on Tuesday (February 27) at 1pm is aimed to give foodies a flavour of what is in store at the village over the coming years.

Austin Heath is home to 167 luxury retirement apartments and when work is complete, will feature a high-end restaurant, wellness centre, spa, swimming pool and gym.

Paul was former head chef at Mallory Court in Leamington and promises the event will feature his signature style of humble ingredients with a gastronomic twist.

The menu will feature organic salmon with cauliflower pureé, pickled kholrabi and crispy rye bread and slow cooked beef with black truffled potatoes and a green herb sauce. Desserts will include a dark chocolate tart, blood orange mousse and whipped mascarpone, as well as an array of snacks and sweets.

Paul said: “We’re really excited to be bringing a flavour of Salt to Inspired. As well as the three-course menu and our signature sourdough bread, we’ll be pairing some great wines with the menu too. The guests are in for something really special”.

Places at the event are limited. Call 01926 683514 or email [email protected] to book.
