ARTISTS will be opening their doors for Warwickshire’s biggest free art event.
More than 400 artists across the county have signed up across 121 venues for this year’s Warwickshire Open Studios running from Saturday June 22 to July 7.
The event encourages amateur and professional artists to display their work in their own homes or in venues including cafes, museums and church halls.
Highlights this year includes a jeweller who uses 100 per cent recycled silver and nature as her inspiration, a photographer who uses analogue and digital experimental photography to distort landscapes and structures into surreal, dynamic images and a ceramicist who has newly returned to her craft inspired by nature, plants, geological strata and stones.
