Art fair to showcase local talent

STRATFORD Art Fair will again be showcasing local talent and supporting young people.

The event organised by Friends of Stratford Girls’ Grammar School takes place at Stratford Town Hall over the weekend of April 28 and 29, from 10am until 5pm on the Saturday, and 10am to until 2pm on Sunday.

The free exhibition will feature a range of artwork from national and international artists including local scenes painted by Stratford artist Claire Henley, and bronze sculptures by Alison Bell, whose work has been exhibited in London and New York.

The fair will also include evreything from works from ceramics and jewellery to glass and photography.

Tea, coffee and cake will be on sale along with a raffle. Funds raised will support Stratford Girls’ Grammar School and Shakespeare’s Hospice’s work with young people.
