Another arrest in Stratford followed reports of a woman assaulted after a crash in Bridgeway. The man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and assault.

Meanwhile a 45-year-old woman from Warwick was arrested and charged with drink driving after a car collided with a bollard in John Scott Way.

In Rugby, three arrests were made in relation to drink driving, one after officers became concerned about how a car was being driven in Dale Street, another as part of investigations into an assault, and a third man was arrested and later charged with failing to provide a specimen.

Further collisions in Brinklow and Bedworth also led to arrests of two Coventry men.

Three Nuneaton women were also arrested in three separate incidents, as well as one man stopped near Chelmsley Wood, later charged with drink driving.
