THE latest round of matches took place in the Stratford-upon-Avon Table Tennis League.
In Division One, the title race remains wide open with four teams still in contention.
Long-time leaders Shottery top the table with 72 points with Stratford Paddles and Bengeworth in hot pursuit.
However, Stratford Racketeers have two games in hand and remain favorites to lift the title.
Shottery claimed a 15-2 victory against Stratford Tigers as Gary Stewart and Steve Foster proved too strong for Jack Ganderton and Archie Mathers.
Elsewhere, Stratford Paddles beat Stratford Jets 15-4 as Phil Patrick and Kevin Taylor produced some thrilling rallies.
Stratford Racketeers continued their march towards the title with a 14-6 victory against Bengeworth as David Ramsey and Tom Burdett impressed.
In Division Two, Willersey A secured a 13-9 success against Henley despite the latter side’s Barry Quirke remaining undefeated.
At Willersey’s new venue, Stratford MND beat Willersey B 12-7 led by the in-form Seth Warner.
And in Division Three, league leaders Stratford Edge Shots claimed emphatic 15-0 and 13-7 victories against Stratford Junior Girls and Ashorne respectively.
Elsewhere, Ashorne won 15-3 against Stratford Junior Boys (Blue) while Littleton Panthers claimed a 15-2 victory against Stratford Junior Boys (Red) in a local derby.
