THE latest round of matches took place in the Stratford-upon-Avon Table Tennis League.

With just one game left to play, Shottery currently lead the Division One table with 112 points, but the title race is far from over.

Stratford Racketeers, currently in third place on 88 points, still have three matches left to play and could usurp Shottery at the top of table.

On the tables, Shottery beat Stratford Paddles 13-3 while Stratford Racketeers secured a dominant 15-1 victory against Stratford Jets to keep their title hopes alive.

In Division Two, Stratford MND clinched the title to secure promotion to Division One for the autumn season.

Henley and Willersey A remain locked in a battle to secure the runners-up spot.

On the tables, MND beat Ilmington 9-6 in a thrilling encounter while Henley defeated Willersey B.

And FISSC recorded impressive victories over Willersey A (13-4) and Ilmington (15-0) as Robert Bartkowski and Neil Mudie both starred.

In Division Three, Littleton Panthers and Stratford Edge Shots are the two teams in with a chance of claiming the title.

The Edge Shots battled to a nail-biting 10-9 win against the Panthers despite the best efforts of Littleton’s Edward Waldron.

Elsewhere, Ashorne beat Stratford Junior Boys Red 13-4 while Stratford Junior Boys Blue won 15-1 against the Junior Girls.
