TABLE TENNIS – Stratford-upon-Avon Table Tennis League action continues

THE latest round of matches took place in the Stratford and District Table Tennis League with dominant performances, narrow finishes and some impressive individual displays.

Littleton Lynx overpowered Willersey 15-1 with Craig Witheford and Richard Bishop in fine form while Mark Bridgeman secured the latter side’s single point.

Racketeers won by the same scoreline against Shottery with a clinical performance.

Team MND beat Two Pings 14-6 as Leigh Ganderton and Barney Tandy led the charge while Matius Watkins impressed for Two Pings.

JLM Hussars edged out Ilmington 10-9 in a thriller as Jim Clarke and Doug Payne combined effectively for the victors while Alberto Vitale and Rick Burgess pushed Hussars all the way.

Littleton Panthers won 12-6 against Ashorne Spirits as Edward Waldron starred supported by Archer Pilling while Stephen Handsley and Paul Hedges impressed for Ashorne.




Quinton triumphed 13-4 against Junior Boys Red with Andrew Smith and Adam Sherriff in dominant form while Leo Burdett scored three points for the latter side.

And Quinton then thrashed Slow Paddles 15-2 with Smith and Sherriff again leading from the front.
