THE STRATFORD and District Table Tennis Association and Stratford-upon-Avon Table Tennis Club marked a significant milestone with a celebration of the club’s growth at Meon Vale Leisure Centre.
The event highlighted the club’s transformation into one of the largest table tennis facilities in the county.
With the support of Stratford Town Trust, Ryse3D and the Stratford and District Table Tennis Association, the club now boasts a 16-table venue, regularly welcoming between 30 and 50 participants per session.
A Stratford and District Table Tennis Association spokesperson said: “This is a fantastic achievement for the club and a testament to the community spirit of Stratford.
“We’re thrilled to see so many people embracing table tennis, whether for fun, fitness, or competition.”
Generous contributions from local organisations has helped the club’s expansion.
Ryse3D’s donation of new tables has ensured top-quality equipment for players, while continued backing from Stratford Town Trust has enabled the club to provide an inclusive and accessible space for all levels of play.
Sessions take place every Monday and Friday evening at Meon Vale Leisure Centre.
The club invite anyone interested in joining to come along to sessions.
