THE Stratford-upon-Avon Table Tennis League Spring League is drawing to a close with the Division One title still up for grabs.

In Division One, Littleton Lynx have lost just once all season and look favourites to take the title.

Stratford Racketeers and Shottery have applied pressure throughout although Racketeers need to inflict a heavy defeat on Littleton to stand any chance of lifting the title.

In Division Two, JLM Hussars won all 10 of their matches to secure the title in emphatic fashion while Team MND took second place with Ilmington in third.

And in Division Three, Quinton emerged as champions with every team contributing to an entertaining and closely contested league.

Elsewhere, the Sona Cup has reached the semi-final stage with Stratford Two Pings to play Littleton Lynx.

And reigning champions Stratford Racketeers face Stratford Junior Boys Red in the other semi-final.

In the Midlands Veterans League, Stratford entered a side in Division Three following the late withdrawal of Birmingham.

Stratford ended the season on a high note with a 6-4 victory away at title-chasing Nuneaton.

A stunning debut performance from Debs Barrow, supported by John Mackay and Richard Bishop, ensured Stratford ended the campaign in memorable fashion.

Stratford secured a fourth place finish in the league as Barrow, Mackay, Bishop, Adrian Jones, Stephen Foster, Piotr Penczkowski, Alberto Vitale, Gary Stewart and Kevin Taylor all played their part in a successful season.
