THE latest round of matches took place in the Stratford-upon-Avon Table Tennis League.

In Division One, Shottery secured an impressive 15-4 win against Stratford Jets.

The dynamic duo of Gary Stewart and Stephen Foster remained undefeated and set the tone for a dominant victory.

And the top-of-the-table clash between Stratford Paddles and Bengeworth more than lived up to its billing.

With the scores locked at seven-apiece heading into the final match, Richard Bishop and Tomasz Kowalczuk took to the table.

And Bishop held his nerve to claim a memorable win for Bengeworth and keep his side’s title hopes alive.

In Division Two, Stratford Team MND secured a commanding victory against FISSC.

Imperious displays from Leigh Ganderton and Ian Nash, who both remained undefeated, helped Stratford to victory.

Elsewhere, newly-promoted Ilmington hosted Division Two frontrunners Henley.

Henley showed their class to claim a hard-fought 12-9 victory as Barry Quirke delivered a flawless performance.
