STRATFORD-upon-Avon Table Tennis Club celebrated a double championship triumph as the Stratford Autumn League drew to a close.
In Division One of the Stratford-upon-Avon Table Tennis League, Stratford Racketeers claimed the title with 113 points, finishing well ahead of their rivals.
Impressive performances from Warwickshire county players Pete and Debs Barrow along with Robert Tkaczyk and Tom Burdett guided the Racketeers to the title.
In Division Two, Stratford Paddles won the title with a mammoth 136 points, well clear of Stratford Jets on 117 points in second place.
Stratford chair Kevin Taylor, along with Nello Mauri, Piotr Penczkowski, Tomasz Kowalczuk, and Tim Lawrence, helped the Paddles earn promotion to Division One in the upcoming Spring League.
In Division Three, Willersey B and Ilmington TTC both secured promotion to Division Two after delivering standout performances over the course of their inaugural season’s respectively.
Stratford-upon-Avon Table Tennis League chair, Taylor said: “This has been a standout season for our league showcasing the exceptional talent and camaraderie of all players.
“Congratulations to all teams on their achievements, and a huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to making this season so memorable.”
The Spring League starts in January 2025 with new teams invited to join the competition.
