THE Stratford-upon-Avon Table Tennis League’s winter season drew to a close with champions crowned across three divisions.
Littleton Lynx proved worthy winners of the Division One title with nine wins from 10 matches.
The squad of John Mackay, Richard Bishop, Craig Witherford, John Taylor and Hu Fai Lau guided Littleton to the title.
At the other end of the table, JLM Hussars and also Stratford MND finished in the relegation places and will compete in Division Two next season.
In Division Two, Willersey claimed the title in a closely-fought battle for top spot with Henley and Ilmington.
The team of Mark Bridgeman, Robert Pitt and also Ian Cooper lost just one game all season to help Willersey to the title.
And Henley join Willersey in achieving promotion to Division One after finishing as runners-up.
At the other end of the division, Quinton and also Stratford Edge Shots finished in the drop zone and will compete in Division Three next season.
In Division Three, Stratford Two Pings marked their first season of competitive table tennis by winning the league title.
Mati Watkins and Adam Wojniusz led Stratford to the league title at the first time of asking in the team’s debut season.
And Ashorne Spirits also clinched promotion to Division Two next season.
Elsewhere, Stratford continue to compete in the Midland Veterans League with the side second in Division Three after two matches.
