TABLE TENNIS - Barrow stars again for Stratford-upon-Avon Table Tennis Club

STRATFORD-upon-Avon Table Tennis Club’s Debbie Barrow produced another stellar performance to win the ladies 40s consolation event at the Midland Masters in Wolverhampton.

Barrow impressed once again following a standout display in Division Two the Senior British League where she won eight out of 10 matches for Ellenborough Table Tennis Club.

In Stratford-upon-Avon and District Table Tennis League action, Snitterfield maintained their dominant form in Division One to beat Bengeworth 15-2 as Alan Cotton and Brian Hobill proved too strong for Richard Bishop and John McKay.

Elsewhere, Shottery secured a 13-3 win against Henley as Gary Stewart and Graham Poole produced standout performances while Henley’s Barry Quirke claimed all three points for his team.

In Division Two, FISSC edged out MND 12-8 with Henry Lu and Mark Kingham instrumental in FISSC’s success while Ian Nash and Leigh Ganderton fought valiantly for MND.

And in Division Three, Ilmington beat Edge Shots 12-7 as Rick Burgess and Craig Bonsor led Ilmington to victory despite the best efforts of Damian Malecki and Chris Morris.
