THE latest round of matches took place in the Stratford-upon-Avon Table Tennis League.
In Division One, Snitterfield duo Walter Warburton and Clive Irwin suffered a 13-3 defeat against Stratford Racketeers pair Pete Barrow and Tom Burdett.
Elsewhere, Bengeworth’s Richard Bishop and John McKay produced a strong performance to beat Shottery’s Gary Stewart and Robert Poole although Stewart remained undefeated on the night.
And Stratford Tigers secured a comfortable victory over Henley as Leigh Ganderton took the player of the match honors.
In Division Two, Stratford Jets continued their fine form with an emphatic 15-4 victory against Willersey A thanks to stellar performances from Alberto Vitale and Phil Patrick.
Stratford Paddles remain two points clear at the top of the table following a commanding 15-4 win against Stratford MND.
And FISSC beat Ashorne 11-6 as league stalwart Brian Marston returned to action for the latter side.
In Division Three, Willersey B causes an upset after beating previously unbeaten Ilmington 10-7 although the latter side’s Rick Burgess retained his perfect individual record.
And Littleton Panthers beat Stratford Junior Girls 13-5 as Simon Waldron produced a player of the match performance while Freya Boer and debutant Jess Barrow impressed for the latter side.
