STRATFORD Sharks Swimming Club made a big splash at the Coventry and District May Meet after coming away with more than 100 medals.
The Sharks success included 14 gold, nine silver and 16 bronze medals as more than 65 swimmers competed against seven other clubs at the Alan Higgs Centre.
And 12-year-old Jacob Smith produced a standout performance as he won a staggering eight gold medals.
Fellow 12-year-old Isla Truscott also demonstrated her prowess in the pool with four gold medals and a silver.
A number of the club’s swimmers also secured two or more top-three finishes.
This includes: Annabel Stacey (14), Harry Connor (13), Pearl Sanele-Khansari (13), Paige Keegan (13), Mya Tustin (12), Eve Elek (12), Daniel Truscott (10), Alex Scott (10) and Alexa Wilson (10).
Elsewhere, 56-year-old Ali Skirvin represented Stratford at the London Aquatics Centre at the London Region Masters Championships
Skirvin won gold in the 100m breaststroke and three bronze medals in the 100m and 50m backstroke events and 50m breaststroke race.
Sharks head coach, Kim Mortimer said: “We are incredibly proud of all our swimmers and their achievements.
