STRATFORD Sharks Swimming Club continue to make a splash both locally and on the international stage.
Sharks masters swimmer Adam Linforth represented the club at the prestigious World Triathlon Multisport Championships.
The event took place in Pontevedra, Spain.
Linforth competed in the aquathlon event and finished 10th in his age group.
And he was the first British athlete to cross the finish line.
He completed a 1km swim and 5km run in a time of 37 minutes and 18 seconds.
Linforth has now secured automatic qualification for next year’s World Championships in Abu Dhabi.
Back on home turf, Stratford Sharks members came together to host the club’s summer social at Cliff Lakes in Tamworth.
Some 80 members took to the water in a celebration of the club’s community engagement.
