ALL promotion and relegation issues have now been decided following the completion of the Wildmoor Spa Tennis League.

Premier Division champions Stratford celebrated with a 3-1 victory in their last match at Studley, who are relegated to Division One.

This gave Stratford a total of 46 points, whilst nearest rivals Alcester managed to accrue 35 after beating mid-table Henley-in-Arden 3-1 in their last fixture.

Ardencote Manor gave it their all in their final match, thrashing sixth placed Moreton-in-Marsh 4-0.

However, although they too finished with 35 points, Alcester pipped them to runners-up spot on points difference.

Evesham claimed fourth place thanks to their 3-1 win over bottom of the table and relegated Claverdon.

Division One had already declared Redditch HDA A as champions as they too finished on top of the table with 46 points.

They had an easy last match as they beat Studley B 4-0. The latter are relegated alongside Whitnash.

Alcester B just beat Ardencote Manor B to the second promotion place as Alcester B finished with 32 points to Ardencote’s 31.

Both won their final matches 4-0 – Alcester B over Whitnash and Ardencote B over Pershore A (28).

Littleton (30 points) claimed fourth spot after beating Snitterfield (28) 3-1.

This division had seen the tightest battle ever for promotion in the history of the league.

Chipping Campden A were crowned champions of Division Two with 48 points after enjoying a 4-0 victory over relegated Studley C.

Stratford B promoted

Stratford B managed to pull clear with 43 to claim promotion as runners-up after they beat their competitors Inkberrow A 4-0, leaving the latter third with 40 points.

Snitterfield B (28) finished fourth after a 2-2 draw with Aston Cantlow who were the bottom side and relegated.

Mid-table FISSC and Claverdon B drew 2-2.

The Division Three title race was finally won by Shipston-on-Stour A on 39 points, with runners-up Alcester C on 37.

Both will be promoted after Shipston beat Henley B 3-1 and Alcester beat Claverdon C 4-0.

Henley B lost out in third, just three points off promotion, having lost that final match to the champions.

Redditch HDA B were fourth and drew their last fixture 2-2 with Inkberrow B.

Inkberrow C and Ilmington are the two relegated teams.

Pershore B are Division Four champions with 46 points and were happy to celebrate promotion with runners-up Warwick (37) in a 2-2 draw between the teams.

It was a double club celebration as the Bidford B team also won promotion as runners-up on 40 points. They too won their last match 4-0 against third placed Evesham B (35 points).
