Solihull success for Wendy

Liam Moakes 21st Feb, 2017 Updated: 22nd Feb, 2017

STRATFORD Riding Club’s Wendy Ellis-Smith produced an impressive ride to finish fifth in the open showjumping event at Solihull Riding Club.

Riding Viva Vivacios in Sunday’s competition, Wendy rode the only clear second round.

Looking ahead, Stratford Riding Club is hosting a dressage event on Saturday, April 8 before its Annual Summer Show on Sunday, August 20.

Both events will take place at Willicote Equestrian Centre, just outside Stratford, by kind permission of Mr and Mrs D Stephenson. Visit the website for more details at stratfordridingclub.co.uk/whatson.html.

Stratford Riding Club is a friendly club where you do not have to own a horse to join. If you want to learn more or just enjoy the company of other horse enthusiasts, then you are most welcome to come along to training sessions.

If you want to compete, represent the club in inter-branch competitions, improve your horse and your riding or take RC exams, then the club will support you.
