STRATFORD-upon-Avon Boat Club finished the year with their annual Boxing Day Scratch Regatta.
Racing took place over 600m from the ferry to the club grounds, some 20 rowers and volunteer coxes competed in coxed fours knockout racing.
Some five crews, made up of master, senior, novice and junior rowers, took to the water with no collisions and a number of competitive finishes.
Stratford Boat Club president, Paul Stanton said: “The start of 2025 is looking good and the club looks forward to training and competing in local, regional and national head of the river races.”
Crew member, Gary Kinley added: “The event was really well-supported and organised with a big thanks to Steve and Katie Wellstead on the safety launch, Tom marshalling the start, Dawson marshalling the finish line and Dave Edwards organising the day. Onwards and upwards to 2025.”
