PARIS 2024 OLYMPICS - Stratford's Esme Booth wins rowing silver as part of women's four

ESME Booth won rowing silver as part of the women’s four at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Booth, from Stratford-upon-Avon, combined with Helen Glover, Sam Redgrave and Rebecca Shorten to win silver on her Olympic debut.

The British quartet were pipped to gold by Netherlands on the line, finishing in a time of 6 minutes 27.31 seconds.

Team GB were just 0.18 secs behind the gold-medal winners while New Zealand took bronze.
