JASON Johnson got his season off to a flying start with an impressive victory representing Stratford & District Boxing Academy.
Fourteen-year-old Johnson boxed against George Lines of Banbury ABC. Due to injury, this was Johnson’s first bout in 17 months and he was eager to get in the ring.
Johnson was dominant against a very game opponent and came through with a comfortable unanimous decision.
Stratford & District Boxing Academy head coach Mat Pickering said: “Jason has come back in sensational fashion. He trains hard for every bout but fights even harder. Well done Jason.”
