HOME favourite Jack Drury lifted the Warwickshire Championship trophy at Stratford-on-Avon Golf Club.
Drury posted a brilliant opening seven under-par gross round of 65 followed by a solid 71 to finish on eight under par (-8).
The 22-year-old finished as runner-up last year and went one better this time around as he finished one shot ahead of Nick Brooker (Olton).
And he will now represent Warwickshire in the English Champion of Champions event at Woodhall Spa later this year.
Fellow Stratford golfer Joel Smith finished fourth after rounds of 70 and 71 respectively.
And in the team trophy, Stratford trio Drury, Smith and Ian Wilton finished five shots clear of The Warwickshire.
The victorious team will also represent Warwickshire in the English Champion Club event later this year at Stanton-on-the-Wolds Golf Club.
