STRATFORD Town have bolstered their forward line ahead of the 2024/25 campaign with the signing of Gibraltar international Reece Styche.

Styche enjoyed notable spells with Forest Green Rovers and Kidderminster Harriers earlier in his career and has scored three goals in 31 appearances for Gibraltar.

The 35-year-old striker struck eight times in 27 appearances for AFC Telford United last term.

Stratford Town boss Gavin Hurren said: “It’s a massive signing not just for the football club but for the fans and the dressing room.

“It just shows the type of player we’re attracting now and with his experience and professionalism, with the career he’s had it is only going to be of massive value to our dressing room.

“I’m really excited at getting Reece in and to start working with him He’s not just a great footballer with a great career he’s also a top guy.

“I’ve worked with him in the past and known him for many seasons he’ll be a massive asset to this football club.”

Bards chairman Jed McCrory added: “Reece is a player we have liked for a while and we have tried to sign him a few times.

“His experience will be invaluable for the coming season.”

Stratford have also confirmed the return of striker Andre Wright who led the Southern League Premier Central scoring charts for Mickleover last term before suffering a long-term injury.

And fellow striker Callum Ebanks will remain with the Bards next season after scoring 23 league goals for the Arden Garages Stadium club last term.
