STRATFORD Town saw their winless run stretch to four matches following a goalless draw at Banbury United in midweek.

The Bards failed to find the net for the third time in four matches in a stalemate at Spencer Stadium.

However, the visitors had Jourdain Masidi sent off on 73 minutes but held on to come away with a point.

And the result means the Bards sit 11th in the Southern League Premier Central table with Stratford now nine points outside of the play-off places.

Banbury controlled possession in the early exchanges but could not carve out a meaningful chance.

The visitors threatened at the other end as Lewis Ludford-Ison and Dan Lafferty both spurned chances to break the deadlock.

Stratford had Masidi sent off for violent conduct after the break after he clashed with Banbury’s Luke Stokoe.

However, neither side created a clear-cut opening in the renaming minutes as a drab affair ended goalless.

Stratford are next in action against Bury Town on Saturday, February 28 with kick-off at 3pm at the Arden Garages Stadium.
