Stratford Editorial 18th Aug, 2023   0

STRATFORD Town scored two late goals to win 2-0 at home against Stourbridge after suffering their first defeat of the season at Barwell.

The Bards left it late to see of Stourbridge as Lewis Ludford-Ison struck on 78 minutes before Charlie Williams sealed the win in injury time at the Arden Garages Stadium.

That came after Gavin Hurren’s side lost 1-0 away at Barwell.

Deen Master scored the game’s only goal early in the second half at Kirkby Road.

The results mean Stratford sit fourth in the Southern League Premier Central table after three matches.

Stratford are next in action away at Alvechurch on Saturday, August 19 with kick-off at 3pm at Lye Meadow.
