STRATFORD Town saw their winless run stretch to four matches following an entertaining 2-2 draw against Needham Market.
The Bards took the lead courtesy of Kory Roberts’ goal only for quickfire strikes from Daniel Morphew and Luke Ingram to turn the game on its head before the break at the Arden Garages Stadium.
However, Owen James drew the home side level just before the hour mark to earn the Bards a point.
The result means Stratford sit 12th in the Southern League Premier Central table.
Stratford broke the deadlock on 21 minutes when Dan Vann headed Henry Landers’ cross back across goal and Roberts powered a shot home via the underside of the crossbar.
However, Needham equalised on 39 minutes as Morphew headed in unmarked at the far post from a corner.
And the visitors completed the turnaround four minutes later when Ingram lobbed the ball over Bards goalkeeper Dale Eve.
The home side dew level after the break on 59 minutes as James saw his effort skid off the body of Needham goalkeeper James Bradbrook and find the net via the aid of the post.
Stratford are next in action against Stourbridge on Saturday, November 8 with kick-off at 3pm at the Arden Garages Stadium.
