STRATFORD Town ended pre-season with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory against National League side Brackley Town.
The Bards drew level courtesy of Alex Collard’s header before a late own goal completed the turnaround at the Arden Garages Stadium.
And the victory means Stratford head into the new season unbeaten in their last three pre-season games.
After a goalless first half, Barckley won a penalty on 58 minutes after a Stratford player handled the ball on the line to prevent the ball from finding the net.
And Shane Byrne duly converted from the penalty spot to put Brackley ahead.
However, the Bards drew level on 75 minutes when Collard glanced a header into the net from close range following a long throw from the left.
And the hosts completed the turnaround one minute from time when Brackley’s Justin Donawa headed the ball into his own net.
Stratford begin their league campaign with a home game against Banbury United on Saturday, August 9 with kick-off at 3pm at the Arden Garages Stadium.
