STRATFORD Town saw their winless run stretch to five matches after drawing 1-1 against struggling Stourbridge.
The Bards took the lead courtesy of Dan Lafferty’s goal early in the second period only for Aaron Bishop to draw the visitors level at the Arden Garages Stadium.
And the result means Stratford sit 12th in the Southern League Premier Central table, six points outside of the play-off places.
A poignant Remembrance ceremony took place before kick-off while the club also gave a eulogy in memory of club president Sid Keenan.
Chances were at a premium in the first half as Lafferty saw a shot saved while Charlie Price then turned Jack Storer’s effort to safety.
The Bards broke the deadlock just two minutes after the break when Lafferty found the bottom corner from Max Lott’s pass.
However, Stourbridge equalised on 66 minutes as Bishop finished past Jake Weaver from Jai Verma’s through ball.
Stratford are next in action against Solihull Moors in the Birmingham Senior Cup on Tuesday, November 11 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Arden Garages Stadium.
