STRATFORD Town exited the FA Cup at the first hurdle following a 3-0 home defeat against divisional rivals Halesowen Town in a replay.
Goals from Jason Cowley, Todd Parker and Jak Hickman saw the Bards exit the competition at the first round qualifying stage at the Arden Garages Stadium.
That came after the Bards drew 1-1 against the Yeltz at The Grove in the original fixture.
Stratford fell behind in the replay after just 10 minutes when Cowley side-footed the ball past Jake Weaver from Kyle Finn’s cross.
And the visitors doubled their lead two minutes after the break as Parker powered a shot into the net after Cowley caused havoc in the Stratford box.
The Yeltz added a third goal on 56 minutes when Hickman finished into an empty net after Cowley’s initial effort deflected into the scorer’s path.
Stratford are next in action against Spalding United on Saturday, September 6 with kick-off at 3pm at the Arden Garages Stadium.
