PAUL McCone’s late goal earned Stratford Town a point in a heated 1-1 draw against Banbury United as both teams finished the game with 10-men.
McCone equalised five minutes from time at the Arden Garages Stadium after Jaanai Gordon opened the scoring for the visitors.
The Bards had Callum Ebanks sent off before the half-hour mark for something he said to the referee while Yaw Nantwi-Ofosu saw red for Banbury on 75 minutes after he picked up a second yellow card.
The results mean the Bards sit 11th in the Southern League Premier Central table.
Stratford are next in action against Halesowen Town on Saturday, September 28 with kick-off at 3pm at The Grove.
