TYRELL Hamilton’s equaliser kept Stratford Town in the play-off places on goal difference following a 1-1 draw with high-flying Mickleover.
Hamilton levelled the game for the Bards on 71 minutes after Oliver Greaves opened the scoring just past the hour mark at the Don Amott Arena.
And the result means Stratford sit fifth in the Southern League Premier Central table, ahead of Redditch United on goal difference in the final play-off spot.
After a goalless first period, Greaves fired home on 63 minutes to put Mickleover ahead after an early cross from the right caught out the Bards defence.
However, substitute Hamilton restored parity eight minutes later when he latched onto Lewis Ludford-Ison’s header to glance the ball past Yusuf Mersin in the Mickleover goal.
Stratford are next in action at home to Bromsgrove Sporting on Saturday, April 20 with kick-off at 3pm at the Arden Garages Stadium.
