EALRSWOOD Town players Ryan Froggatt and Alastair Lewis were the big winners at the club’s 2021/22 end of season presentation evening at The Pavilions.

Centre-back Froggatt claimed the Manager and Players’ Player of the Season awards while goalkeeper Lewis was another double-winner picking up the Star Man and Supporters’ Player of the Season.

Froggatt played 25 times for the Earls, scoring twice and captained the team on nine occasions.

The defender’s consistency at the back was enough to see player-manager Tom Reynolds and his teammates vote him as the standout performer.

Lewis played 16 times for the Earls and was awarded six man-of-the-match awards by opponents during the season which resulted in him being overall Star Man.

With a fine reputation for saving penalties, the shot-stopper was also voted the fans’ favourite.

Elsewhere, Jordan McKenzie claimed the club’s Top Goalscorer prize with 11 goals to his name from 22 appearances.

Leadun Dunlevy was awarded the Committee’s Player of the Season having made 26 appearances which included a crucial late winner away at Fairfield Villa.

There was also an accolade for groundsman and committee member Tony Barrett, who picked up the Chairman’s Award for his efforts in ensuring the club runs smoothly off the field.
