STRATFORD Town will be throwing their doors open for free at the Arden Garages Stadium this weekend as the Bards take on Coventry Sphinx in a pre-season friendly.

The club have already announced that 500 free tickets for mum’s and their children will be available for each of their 10 home friendlies but extra support from key sponsors means the offer can now be extended to everyone.

And Saturday’s game kicks-off at 3pm before the club host League One side Burton Albion on Tuesday, July 5 with kick-off for that fixture at 7.30pm.

Chairman Jed McCrory said: “We are grateful for the continued backing of all our sponsors and particularly Proco/RSG Adhesives and Arden Garages which has allowed us to make this incredible offer to supporters.

“Not only will they have the chance to see some of our exciting new signings in action for the first time but they will also be able to see some of our youngsters who are on the verge of Dean Holdsworth’s first team.

“Our incredible group of volunteers have been working tirelessly during the summer to make improvements around the Arden Garages Stadium and this will be a chance for ‘Bardy Army’ supporters both old and new to see how the ground has developed.”

The game against Sphinx takes place TOMORROW (Saturday, July 2) with kick-off at 3pm at the Arden Garages Stadium.
