EARLSWOOD Town suffered a 3-1 derby defeat against AFC Solihull and finished the game with 10-men.
Callum Smith reduced the deficit for the Earls after George Hunt and Saed Saed put the home side in command before Abdo Said completed the scoring from the penalty spot after the break at Rumbush Lane.
The result means Earlswood sit 11th in the Midland Football League Division Two table.
Solihull broke the deadlock on 12 minutes when Hunt sent a looping header over Alfie Pyott from Brad Andrews’ cross.
And the home side doubled their lead soon after as Saed rifled a shot into the corner from 25-yards out.
However, the Earls halved the deficit when Smith fired home from eight-yards out via the underside of the crossbar.
Solihull sealed the points in the second half as Said coolly converted from the penalty spot after Keelan Reilly committed a foul in the box.
And Reilly picked up a second yellow card soon after to leave the Earls down to 10-men for the remainder of the contest.
Earlswood are next in action against Inkberrow on Saturday, October 19 with kick-off at 3pm at The Pavilions.
