STRATFORD Town suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat away at lowly Barwell as the Bards continue to slide towards the relegation zone.
Stratford equalised in the second half through Andre Wright’s goal only for Brady Hickey to score the winner minutes later after Beck-Ray Enoru had opened the scoring early on at the UK Flooring Direct Stadium.
The result leaves Stratford in 18th place in the Southern League Premier Central table and means the Bards have won just one of their last nine matches in all competitions.
Stratford are next in action at home to Basford United on Saturday, November 5 with kick-off at 3pm at the Arden Garages Stadium.
