FC STRATFORD have been honoured at the Midland League awards for playing the game in the right spirit.

The youngsters were named winners of the Fair Play Award across all seven divisions.

The Midland League Division Two side tweeted: “Young squad, cool heads. Huge credit to Nick Ballinger and the management team, captain Ash Wilkes and all the players.”

Meanwhile, FC Stratford, with Dave Poulson now in charge, have arranged five friendlies.




Poulson will make his return as manager with the opening fixture away to Warwick side Central Ajax on Tuesday, July 9 (7pm), followed by a trip to Inkberrow on Saturday, July 13 (1pm).

They then head to Malvern side Welland Junior on Tuesday, July 16 (7pm) and travel to Willenhall to face Dudley Town at the Aspray Arena on Saturday, July 20.


The final friendly will renew acquaintances with Shipston Excelsior on Saturday, July 27 (2.30pm).

The club holds its first pre-season training session on Tuesday at the Arden Garages Stadium from 7.30pm.
