DANIEL Chilvers is celebrating after being named Stratford Squash Club’s 2015 junior player of the year.
Chilvers has been playing for and receiving coaching from Stratford Squash Club for about five years, during which time he has achieved so much.
His keenness to play squash competitively has taken him to many junior tournaments across the country and the support from his parents Gill and Steve – who are both high level players – has been the key to his success.
In his effort to improve his England Squash ranking which is currently 39 for his age group, Chilvers has given up his beloved football to concentrate on squash.
Stratford Squash Club coach Dave Petty said: “Dan thoroughly deserves this award and everyone at Stratford Squash Club wishes him every success for the future.”
