NORTON Lindsey and Wolverton Cricket Club recently held their Annual General Meeting as part of preparations for the 2026 season.
On the playing side, members re-elected Andrew Dellow and Martin Hall as Saturday captains.
Toby White and Reichana Roberts will look after the Sunday and midweek teams, with Mark Reading, Dan Fell and Nick Frost supporting as vice captains.
Chairman Andy Dewar confirmed the first XI will play in Cotswold Hills League Division One next season, with the 2nds to play in Division Four.
The club have arranged regular Sunday friendly fixtures while the midweek team will play on Wednesday evenings in the Cotswold T20 East League.
Pre-season net sessions are currently underway at Aylesford School Sports Hall on Sunday’s from 12 noon to 2pm.
Ground preparations are planned for Saturday, April 11, with the first fixtures of the season to begin the following weekend.
League games will then commence on May 2.
Norton Lindsey are currently looking to recruit a regular Saturday 1st XI scorer.
Meanwhile, in their inaugural season playing in the South Warks Indoor Winter League, Norton’s women’s softball team have won three of their four games.
