PAULA Williams added to her shot put gold and relay bronze at the World Masters Athletics Championships with another bronze in the 80m hurdles.
Williams secured bronze in a close race in Gothenburg, Sweden to claim her third medal of the Championships.
The Stratford-upon-Avon Athletic Club athlete broke her own British shot put record earlier in the Championships on her way to gold in the event.
And she also ran the first leg as Great Britain took bronze in the 4x100m relay.
Also in Sweden, Stratford triathlete Emma Bexson returned to Kalmar, the city of her first Ironman race a decade ago as she took on the distance for the 10th time.
The 49-year-old completed the 2.4 mile sea swim leg in good time as she transitioned to the 112-mile bike leg well.
The bike leg weaved through the city before heading out to the island of Oland and then back to the mainland.
Bexson recorded the fastest time in her age group averaging 34.72kph.
Next up was the 26.2 mile marathon run with the three-lap course taking in woodland trails and the footpaths of Kalmar.
Bexson suffered with back pain during the run leg and dug deep to complete the marathon distance in 3 hours 44 minutes and 44 seconds.
This meant Bexson finished Ironman Kalmar in an overall time of 10 hrs 15 mins 47 secs to finish second in her age category out of 59 competitors.
