OVER 100 shoe boxes packed with gifts are on their way to Syria.
Youngsters, parents and staff at Alveston Primary School joined the Shoe Box Appeal to send some much-needed Christmas cheer to people in the war torn country..
Gifts range from soft toys to colouring books and crayons, playing cards, together with essentials like gloves, scarfs and hats.
